| My experience dealing with Pete McGahan of Keller Williams Realty Gulf Coast was absolutely the best I have had. I have dealt with other realtor's but didn't really seem to care if they sold me a house or not! Pete spent many days showing me homes and condos until we found "The One". Pete helped through the whole closing process which was a large help being as I am a widow and have never done things like this on my own. My partner and I had made several visits to St. Pete from our home in the Washington DC area over the past five years, and made a decision to buy a home there to first rent, then eventually move into. We knew there were many properties available, but we needed a good local resource to help us better understand the various neighborhoods in the St. Pete area, to screen properties for us, and then to let us know when there were some good properties to see that met our criteria to make a trip worthwhile. After one failed attempt with a local realtor, we selected several realtors from gayrealestate.com, and interviewed them on the phone. We selected Pete based on the how easy he was to talk with, his knowledge of the market, and his understanding of our needs and the challenges looking for properties from a distance. Pete turned out to be a great selection. Over a period of several months, he sent us property listings that met our requirements, then set us up to visit 15 properties over two days to coincide with a family vacation. It was clear that Pete understood our needs once we visited the properties. By the end of the second day, we had found our dream house in Old Northeast. Pete's work was not done- he helped us work out and negotiate a fair price for the house from a long distance, and made all the arrangements for closing. One more trip to sign the papers and close, and we had our dream home. Thank you Pete for your hard work and friendship.

Pete was honest and gave his opinions about the houses we were looking at. His personality and attitude made the hard task of finding our first home easy.
